Hamdaratu Zakaria is a development professional in charge of gender and inclusivity at the GALOP. Project Skilled in public sector management and governance and non profit organization. She has a strong interest in public policy development and how it affects society especially women, girls and children. She is also experienced in resource mobilization with a demonstrated history of working in the philanthropy industry.
She holds an MSc in NGO Management & Studies from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, a BA in Public Administration from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), and a teacher Cert ‘A’ from Tamale Teacher Training College, Ghana. Prior to joining the GALOP project, she was the Executive Secretary of the Postal and Courier Services Regulatory Commission. She also worked at the African Women’s Development Fund in Accra and other institutions. She’s currently a board member of North Gonja Community Foundation.
