GrowLead Foundation is a not-for -profit Ghanaian NGO dedicated to empowering women, girls, and marginalized communities, particularly in the five regions in the North, Zongo neighborhoods, and settler enclaves.
Through our programmes, we nurture leadership, amplify voices, and create opportunities for women and girls to participate meaningfully in civic life and decision-making.
We believe strong communities are built when women and girls are equipped with the skills, confidence, and networks they need to drive lasting change.
To create a future where women, girls, and marginalized groups are fully aware of their social and political rights and are empowered to actively participate in civic and community life.
To provide opportunities and platforms for women and girls to develop their capacities, strengthen leadership skills, and actively engage in decisions that impact their lives and communities.
At GrowLead Foundation, we believe transformation begins with people. Our approach combines leadership training, mentorship, empowerment, and community engagement to ensure that women, youth, and grassroots leaders are equipped to drive meaningful and sustainable change.
We design training programs that equip women, youth, and grassroots leaders with practical skills to take on leadership roles with confidence.
It is my pleasure, as Chairperson, to welcome you to the GrowLead Foundation, a women-led nonprofit committed to empowering women and girls through education, leadership development, and mentorship.
Our Board of Directors provides the vision, guidance, and resources needed to sustain the foundation’s growth. We stand as living examples of the leadership journeys we hope to inspire, ensuring that the seeds we plant today blossom into legacies for generations to come.
We invite you to partner with us. Together, we can expand our impact, strengthen our programmes, and transform communities. We look forward to working with you to create greater opportunities for women and girls everywhere.
Warm regards,
Our team is a diverse group of leaders, mentors, and changemakers dedicated to empowering women, youth, and grassroots communities across Ghana. Together, we combine expertise, experience, and empathy to drive lasting impact.
Our values are the guiding principles that shape our mission to empower women and girls across Ghana’s five northern regions and Zongo and settler communities. They define who we are, how we work, and the impact we seek to make.
We are dedicated to nurturing transformational leadership among women and girls. Through mentorship, training, and exposure to opportunities, we inspire them to lead with confidence, purpose, and integrity in their communities and beyond.
We believe every woman and girl has the potential to drive meaningful change. Our programmes build their skills, self-belief, and networks—enabling them to take control of their futures and become catalysts for progress in their societies.
We hold ourselves to the highest standards of honesty, transparency, and ethical conduct. Every decision, partnership, and activity is anchored in accountability, respect, and service to the communities we represent.
We champion diversity and equality. Every woman, girl, and marginalized person deserves to be seen, heard, and valued. Our programmes are designed to be accessible, participatory, and reflective of the diverse realities of our target communities, regardless of social, cultural, or economic background.
We believe that sustainable change is achieved through collective effort. We engage community leaders, development actors, and civil society organizations to co-create solutions that amplify impact and ensure long-term relevance.
Partnership is at the heart of our approach. We cultivate and sustain relationships with institutions and individuals who share our vision, leveraging shared values and expertise to expand opportunities and drive transformative outcomes.
